What Its About

Hello there and welcome to my new blog.

I remember learning about left brain/right brain dominance and I could never quite evaluate myself to pinpoint which side of the brain I used more... was I more creative or more analytical?  Turns out, according to all of the oh-so-authentic Internet tests, that I'm both-braineded (yes, I made up that word... must be the right side hard at work).  Each time I took on of these quizzes, I turned up with a 50% dominance (which, obviously is not a dominance at all). 

Late last night (when I was diligently uploading photos from our vacation to share with friends), I got side-tracked and took another Internet quiz which came back with the results of 51% dominance left side, 49% right side.  The right side is what controls the more creative functions of the brain....  hence the name of the blog. 

In real life, I tend to be more analytical, practical, logical.  I love being creative, but the practical side of me tends to shut that down.  This year, I'm really trying to reach a little, with both sides of my brain.  Some of the more creative desires I have are ready to come out and play.  Photography has always been an interest of mine and I recently bought myself a new camera that I having lots of fun with.  I hope to take some good pictures, and learn how to take some better ones, and share my journey here.   You may also occasionally see some other artsy/craftsy stuff along the way.... Please share your comments, feedback (both good and bad!) and tips with me as you follow along.
